P.A.L. Student Information

The Program for Adult Literacy can help you learn how to:

  • create a resume,
  • speak, read, and write English,
  • balance a checkbook,
  • read to your children
  • use a computer,
  • improve your reading skills,
  • and more!

Time Commitment: Students are asked to make a one year commitment to meet with their tutor at least 1 1/2  hours every week.

Cost: FREE!

Qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Desire to learn
  • Arrive on time to tutoring sessions
  • Meet and adhere to the BCLN Code of Conduct
